  • Do you ever find it difficult to juggle multiple tasks and are not sure which to do first?
  • Do you find it hard to say no when you can’t complete a task straight away?
  • How does your team communicate under pressure, do you ever find other team members difficult to interact with?
  • Would you like to feel a more integrated part of the practice team and play a role in improving how care is delivered in your practice?
  • Would you like to foster a team environment of mutual respect and trust?

Working in a client care, receptionist or practice support role within a veterinary team involves juggling multiple tasks under pressure, with common stressors being time and people. Managing time and expectations of others can be challenging, demands can come from many different directions, and it is easy to end up feeling overwhelmed.

Of course, the two key stressors of time and people are intrinsically linked. Our desire to please others can often overrule our need to be realistic about making a plan, and executing it effectively.

Time Management and Teamwork consists of two 3-hour online workshops where you will not only explore tools and skills to help you manage your day more effectively, staying on top of tasks and time, but also how to communicate the benefits of plans and prioritisation to your wider team.
