But what does this famous lyric from Monty Python’s Life of Brian have to teach us about wellbeing? While ‘looking on the bright side of life’ may seem like somewhat of a cliché, having a positive outlook can benefit both our medium- and long-term physical and mental health. It can also make us feel better in the moment.
